Thomas isn't the problem. The problem is that this populace is lethargic and can't get over the fact that their local schools are predominantly black, hispanic or low income. And these black, hispanic and low income schools are achieving recognized and exemplary status. The local media or populace is not sure how to deal with the fact that their superintendent knows how to educate minority and low income students. Have noticed that know media coverage has really spotlighted that reality locally.

Answer : I have to. This is simply THE PRIME EXAMPLE of Jefferson County, Texas and the media! This is it! It is just too choice! Really people - this writer is a real person that really thinks they are "on to something!"
So - let me now confess. Here is what happened. I paid a guy - to get in a county truck and go park in the woods. And when he parked in the woods - I got a person that lives in Bevil Oaks to get a camera and take a picture and send it to me.........no no no.....here is what I really did......I drove around and looked for a county truck parked in the woods and I took a picture.....no no no...here is what I did - I photo shopped a picture and put the county sticker on it...and then....
Kill the messenger? You just cannot make this stuff up! It is way too funny. And sorry Trog - I had too. I will go away again. Some people will DO ANYTHING or SAY ANYTHING. After that post I would NEVER EVER admit to that post.
First, the photograph doesn't show a county employee sleeping in the truck. It just shows a truck with what looks like a county sticker on it. Was the county doing any work in the area? This story needs more follow up. You should have checked the license number and then called the appropriate county office.
Second, they have a point. Your post reads that the photograph was taken today yet it was pouring rain.
Assuming for a moment that the photo is genuine and the statement from the "reader" is true... PRK, isn't it your premise that individuals are responsible for their own actions? If that is the case, how does this irresponsible person prove "corruption?"
BISD might be passing their TAKs, but I don't know how....Look at the product they are turning out. For the most part, they are as dumb as a stick. I wouldn't hire a BISD grad if my life depended on it. They can't put a sentence together. They can't do simple math. How they are beating the system is beyond me....
Once again, Operation Kleinwatch has put Philip in his place. Check out their answers to the "questions" Philip suggested we ask Jeff Branick. Philip, if you are going to tell us how to do our jobs, do your homework first! Another classic example why one should not practice journalism at home.

What is going on over at Channel4? I heard they ley go of their morning producer who I thought was pretty good.
Channel 4 is dropping the Fox Network. On January 1, 2010 KJAC will become the local BET station. News announced at staff meeting this morning.
