At 11:24 a.m. KFDM posted this: BEAUMONT-Firefighters have put out a small fire at Alibis nightclub off I-10 in Beaumont. Smoke was reported coming from the roof about 11 a.m. Monday. I realize everyone of y'all want to be first to report things, but shouldn't you at least wait until the fire is out before you say it is out?

So Faux 4 ran a follow up to one of its fabricated news stories, focusing on a COUNCILWOMAN who is DEMANDING SOLUTIONS to Beaumont's "EMS CRISIS" (A crisis that only exists because Phil Klein and the Faux 4 News Team believe it to be real)
My favorite part is the last line, "We also tried to get a comment from Mayor Becky Ames last week, but she told us that we should go to the City Manager, since the council had nothing to do with EMS."
If council has nothing to do with EMS, then what is the point running a story about a councilperson demanding change for EMS?

She was the producer on the weekend. And she got into it with a new producer who hasn't been here for even a month. Who suxs! So Tiana didn't take her shit. She deserves a farewell but fuck ups denied her one, cause they knew shed tell the truth.

A man robbed a Beaumont McDonalds on Monday. It happened around 3:30 in the afternoon at the McDonalds on I-10 near the Maury Meyers Bridge. He entered the restaurant with a gun after throwing a rock through one of the glass doors. The man then took all of the money from the register and forced the employees to open the safe. Police are still looking for the man.

Management at 12 are a bunch of pussies who refuse to take a chance with their on-air product (shy of hiring a 23-year-old to run the production dept. wtf?) and the management at 4 don't have a clue how to make their traveling circus approach to television look professional enough to satisfy a broader audience (hire somebody who knows what they are doing and pay them enough to live above the poverty level). Management at 6 is leaving, so who knows what will happen there, as they have been successfully doing the same thing for decades. Change, while ultimately necessary, could be disastrous for the house that Larry built.

Fox 4 spoke to several people living at Collier Park, which is an assisted living facility for seniors in Beaumont.
Many of them rely only on their social security checks in order to live.
The federal government has until August 2nd to raise the nation's current $14.3 trillion debt ceiling.
If it's not raised, the federal government will not be able to pay all of its bills next month.
Which means social security checks are not guaranteed to be mailed out on August 3rd.

Which paper? I'm assuming the Examiner>? PA NEWS is actually a decent paper, but would never have the resources to attempt broadcasting. The Enterprise is only good for lining by dog's kenel, so I doubt they could come up with enough content to fill any sort of broacast.

Come on Rox, I live in Orange County. Took both papers until the Enterprise delivery became, well, spotty at best. Pretty much was taking the Beaumont paper for some news, but the last few papers I got in 2010 said " Dewey Elected."

And the consequences have been wrongful convictions and victims denied justice.
Houston has used billions of tax dollars to built impressive stadiums, slick rail systems and hundreds of other laudable improvements, but they still don't have a functioning crime lab.
Houston Councilman C.O. Bradford said there are years even decades of evidence that hasn't been examined yet including many rape kits.
There are more than 7-thousand cases in which the evidence has never been examined.
Each of these seven thousand rape kits represents a horrific crime against someone's daughter sister or son.
The H.P.D Crime Lab is reportedly employing federal grant money to reduce the back-log of untested rape cases.
Bradford sees the effort as too little and far too late.
